Tamar Jacoby - At It Again...

To be so smart and so wrong.  How is it possible?  We've all known ladies like this.  But despite that you've just gotta' love her. Our little "tart" Tamar Jacoby has over extended herself once again.   I guess the Manhattan Institute didn't take my advice (given back on Jan 13th-see below) that they should send her to sensitivity training.  Just the other day after heaping praises on Sen. Mel Martinez, our little Tamar went on the attack.  (she's MI's attack chihuahua.  Ha!)   The opposition - those Republican Congressmen and Senators that oppose what I call the Bush/Kennedy Immigration Bill.  She referred to them as "ya - hoo's".  (link)   Ha!  Hope I spelled it correctly! Ha!  If it weren't so hilarious one might  be offended. Ya-hoooooo's! Ha! (note:  one each Ha! = half minute long belly laugh).

Some wise person once said, "when you have to resort to name calling, you've lost the argument".  I believe it is true.  But I'm not here to ridicule or perform a victory dance in the inzone.    If I had the power, I'd require Tamar, her colleagues at the Manhattan Institute, President Bush, Karl Rove, Mel Martinez and the rest of the "rabid globalists" who have a choke hold on "our" Republican Party to open their eyes to the damage that the wide open southern border and the invasion from the south have done to our nation. ( LINK )   Alas, I have no such power.  And I'm not really into forcing anyone to think a certain way.  But I can Pray for the above folks.  The one that I Pray to does have that power

I am re-publishing (below) my Jan. 13th, 07 essay about Tamar Jacoby and the Manhattan Institute:  DD

The GOP Id vs. The GOP SuperEgo - Part II

Sunday, January 14, 2007 4:47 PM

"And I can tell you that they have an agenda that causes them to be indifferent as to whether the GOP wins or loses."
I began with this quote from my previous "Part I" post. Because this best describes the Elitists/Globalists that are in the drivers seat of "our" GOP. They are influencing, driving, steering the party in a direction where winning is going to be impossible. And they know it! We see the manifestations of this on other issues but especially surrounding the illegal immigration issue. There is no greater symbol or collection of this globalist mentality as you will find within the Manhattan Institute (MI). They bill themselves as a conservative think tank. This is President Bush's "go to" think tank (link). He, Rove and MI's Myron Magnet plotted the "roadmap to compassionate conservatism". And no doubt there are some brilliant conservative minds within MI and they've done much for conservative causes. But they have strayed off into this Globalists mindset. Especially within a compartment of their org that deals with immigration issues. When MI is asked to "comment" on immigration issues they always march out an elitist little tart named Tamar Jacoby. She is the point person when it comes to their unwavering support for the McCain/Kennedy Immigration Reform Bill (link) so you must assume that the entire MI has become globalist in their thinking. They view the concept of sovereign borders and nationalism as antiquated. Obsolete thinking. So anyone on the GOP side who disagree's with MI's position gets Ms. Jacoby losed on them. She has become so predictable, however. Her first attack wave - always with a pointy finger is, "You are anti-immigration. You are a Nativist." (link). Which, of course, is not true - and she knows it but these "brands" are an effective weapon. I find her written opinions or quotes to be extremely amusing because she doesn't try to hide her contempt for Middle America fly-over-state voters and the anti-"illegal "immigration forces. In one article she states, "they are mostly males, white and lack college degree's" or "unthinking" (link). Tamar evidently believes that anything learned outside the halls of some ivy league university is just not useful information. MI really needs to send our little Tamar off to sensitivity training. She really is a smart cookie and at times she almost gets it (link). There's hope for Tamar and MI! They simply need to invite a few more folks from the fly-over states as "vistin' fellers". Ha! Not likely to happen. Tamar and MI are masterful at crafting, wording and manipulating polls that they commission, many from Ed Goeas and the Tarrance Group, in order to get the end conclusion that they want to submit to government leaders. They make very convincing arguments as to why the southern border should remain porous. And they can point out that the "anti-immigration" (as they call them-again not true) candidates like J.D. Hayworth, Rick Santorum, and George Allen all lost on 11/7. Tamar is gleeful about this in her writings (link). And that makes me wonder if, behind the scenes, the MI might have been working against these candidates ( link) . I know what your thinking, "Gee another conspiracy theory". Well maybe. But they do have a strong motivation. Because the MI has strong links to the business community. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has joined with them on numerous occassions. And the USCoC has also strongly endorsed McCain/Kennedy. The USCoC wants to keep the flow of cheap labor coming into the U.S. and they believe, falsely, that if we seal the Mexican border that will permanently damage our economy. In a way their motivation "seems" good but they are totally wrong and misguided. Their CEO, Thomas Donohue, comes across as a conservative, level headed individual (link) but the USCoC has thrown its full support behind McCain/Kennedy! The Heritage Foundation has a poor opinion of McCain/Kennedy (link). They way they describe it, it sounds to me like eating tomato soup with a fork. There will be so many ways to "beat the system" that it will be ineffective and the status quo will continue. Which is really what Mr. Donohue and the business community want. Business does not like change when times are good. But aren't they like all of us in that respect? They are resisting with all the dollars they can throw at it. And who's catching those dollars? The answer: Manhattan Institute, John McCain, the RNC, and any GOP candidate who'll play ball.

Who was it that said "follow the money"? The money is flowing. The MI and the USCoC can operate just as well in a Hillary Clinton administration as they can in the present environ and keep the money flowing.

So we now have the little Angel and Demon perched on our shoulder. The little devil is saying, "you have to be realistic. You are really powerless to change the way things are. Cast your GOP vote and go about your business. Let the people who know the real situation handle the future of your nation. Take the path of least resistance. Make it easy on yourself". But the little Angel says, " every American generation has had to fight, on and off the battlefield, in order to maintain our freedom and sovereignty. If you surrender you will lose. Fight on. You can achieve a win in 2008".

So The GOP Id continues to follow the money. The GOP SuperEgo has only their vote to speak with and they spoke loudly on 11/7/06. And even though attackers like Tamar Jacoby try to explain away the significance of this, we should not be discouraged. We have been heard. Darvin Dowdy

Chaos in Our Fair City...

This past Tuesday, April 24th  results of a UPI/Zogby Poll were released of 5932 U.S. “residents”. Now these were not registered voters as I understand it. But “residents”. And even with that almost 60% stated that they want existing Immigration Laws enforced instead of the “path to citizenship” mumbo-jumbo that President Bush and the Democrats are trying to force upon the “residents”. One can’t help but wonder what the results would have been had the Poll been taken of 5932 registered voters. Citizens. I have to believe it would be in the 80% range who want to see the borders sealed, deportation of illegals and prosecution of employers who employ them.

Couldn’t UPI/Zogby also poll about legal immigrants who cause trouble and/or break the law, too? Like Sueng-Hui Cho? Who was picked up in December 05 and brought before a Virginia District Court for stalking. At which time a psychiatrist pronounced him “a danger to himself and others”. Wouldn’t most folks support the concept that Cho should have lost his Green Card status and been put on the next plane back to S. Korea? Certainly there must be some immigration law or ICE regulation that would protect U.S. citizens from the criminally insane? A concept like this is a “no brainer” to common sense Middle American’s.

But not to the local, state and federal authorities. They could care less if we or our families are safe. They’ve lost sight of that province of responsibility long ago.

After all, their families are safe within the gated communities they live in. Their offices have around-the-clock security. Everywhere they go they are protected. Why should they lose sleep over what’s happening out on our streets?

No place better to make this point than here in my home town of Houston, Texas. Just in the last couple of weeks we’ve had 2 major, right-out-in-the-open gun battles involving Hispanic human smuggling gangs and MS-13. (link1) (link2) One was in broad daylight, at the noon hour on a busy freeway intersection. Many passing cars reported bullet holes. Fortunately only one person was killed in that incident. There were 2 wounded in the 2nd incident. We count ourselves fortunate if the body count is that low.

And then back on March 28th we were entertained by the news broadcasts of an horrific automobile accident where a Mother, her Daughter (pregnant) and unborn Grandchild were all killed when a drunken illegal alien, who’d been picked up and released 3 times prior for DUI, plowed into their vehicle. (link3) Coulda’ been worse, huh? We shouldn’t be troubled over something like this, should we?

Then March 3rd, kind of a funny story. In a typical Houston neighborhood Police found 67 illegal’s forced into one small house! (link4) Ha Ha! Imagine that being in your neighborhood. Kinda’ reminds one of the old circus trick where dozens of clowns get out of a tiny car doesn’t it? Nothing serious though. No one was killed at least. However, there were women and children being forced to stay in that squalid little house until those pesky human smugglers could find a place to market their herd of humans. But, again, something like this shouldn’t cause us to be upset. Agreed?

Now here’s one that will really cause you to develop a twitch. On January 30th HPD picked up Albin Adalin Zelaya-Zelaya. (link5) A notorious member/leader of the MS-13 gang. And 5 of his MS-13 “friends”. Here’s the funny part – they were living in a peaceful little apartment complex in the west Houston area. Ha! Right in amongst families, etc. Not only is Zelaya-Zelaya (ZZ we’ll call him) wanted for a whole slew of crimes here in the Houston area but he is also wanted in his home country of Honduras. Where last Christmas ZZ got into a squabble with his in-laws. Well I guess the in-laws kind of lost their heads. Literally. ZZ chopped off both of their heads. No joke. Merry Christmas Mom and Pop! And Honduran authorities say he was involved in a 2004 incident where they believe he pulled out his machine gun and riddled a public bus killing 37 people. “Say Hello to my little friend!” he could be heard screaming as he peppered the bus with bullets. He did get deported once from the U.S. But no problem! He just came right back across the border. Several times back and forth over the last couple of years authorities believe. And he had set up house right here in a quiet Houston neighborhood. Now isn’t that special?

Seems like we had a little break during the Christmas 2006 season but just prior to that in September 06 we lost one of our finest HPD Officers. Officer Rodney Johnson was “gunned down” by none other than? You guessed it – an illegal alien. (link 6) Five bullets in the back for Officer Johnson who left behind a wife and 5 children. Enough said.

Then there was the Rev. William Huang. [please visit his site-I believe his daughter put it together-leave her condolences] Pastor of a Local Church, loving Father and Husband. March 2006. Hacked to death by a machete wielding – you guessed it – illegal alien! (link7) Why? Pastor Huang also owned a small seafood shop in north Houston to help support his family and church. He had employed the estranged wife of illegal alien Leon Andrade.

Andrade had a long criminal record and a history of violence. He’d been picked up and jailed several times. Yet he was prowling the streets of Houston, Texas free as a bird. Go figure! Andrade came to the Seafood shop to “whip up” on his estranged wife. Rev. Huang tried to intervene and talk Andrade out of it. Andrade pulled out his machete, chased the good Reverend out and down an alley, hacking at him all the time. Finally hacking him to death.

At this point, as I’m writing this I find I must stop and calm myself down. I am seething with rage. If you are any sort of decent person I know you must be feeling the same. With the exception of a few, most Politicians and Judges on the Bench are incapable of these sorts of compassions or concerns for the common Middle American. They mouth phrases like “Compassionate Conservatism”. But they have no knowledge of compassion, caring or concern. They are “whitewashed tombs, beautiful on the outside… but on the inside full of dead men’s bones”. They have come to think of themselves as “god-like” and on high, however, and it is their intentions to force us, Middle America, to fuse/coalesce with a culture that is almost completely opposite of ours. And they, looking down from Olympus, expect us to hand over to the hordes of ingrates, swarming across the southern border, what we and generations before us have worked so hard to build. Its not going to happen without a fight. The fight being verbal at this point in time.

Ok. Now you’ve had a chance to cool off a few moments. But you need to brace yourselves as I want you to visit some more, very disturbing, websites. Some good people have worked very hard to set up these websites and the information they have needs to be viewed. Especially for those that are not Houstonians or Texans and who believe that the border/illegal problem does not concern them. It may next be your loved one that gets mangled by one of these out of control maniacs. Please view these links:
